Privacy Policy
Privacy
This is a small online store, so this is a short policy written in plain English. It covers what we collect, why we have it, and who else ends up seeing it.
The short version
We collect what is needed to send you the thing you bought, and not much else. Your card number never touches this site. We do not sell personal information, and there are no advertising or analytics trackers on these pages.
One thing to say plainly before the detail: online checkout is not live on this store yet, so no orders and no payment information are being collected here today. The order section below describes how it will work once it is switched on.
What we collect
When you place an order. Nothing here yet. Online checkout is not connected on this store, the Checkout button says so and cannot take payment, and no order details, address or payment information are being collected today. What follows is how it is built to work, and this page will be updated before it is switched on.
Payment will be handled by Stripe, our payment processor. To complete an order you will provide your name, email address, shipping address and phone number, along with the items you are buying. Your card details (number, expiry and security code) will be entered on Stripe's own payment page and go directly to Stripe. They will never be sent to this site and we will never see or store them. What we would see afterwards is that a payment succeeded, plus the basic details Stripe shows a merchant, such as the card brand and the last four digits.
When you email us. We keep your message and your email address so we have the history of the conversation if you write again.
When you sign up for emails. Just the email address you type in, used only to send occasional notes about new designs. It is optional, it is never required to buy anything, and you can ask to come off the list at any time. An honest note on the current state: the signup form is not connected to an email service yet, so an address entered there is not being added to any list today. If that changes, this page gets updated before any address is stored.
Automatically. Like any website, the server that hosts these pages may keep standard access logs for security and troubleshooting: IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. There is no analytics script and no advertising pixel on this site.
Why we have it
- To produce and ship your order, and to let you know what is happening with it.
- To answer your questions and handle returns, replacements and refunds.
- To keep the order and payment records a business is required to keep for accounting and tax.
- To spot and prevent fraudulent orders.
- To send you email about the store, only if you asked for it.
We do not use any of it to build an advertising profile of you, and we do not feed it to ad networks.
Who else sees it
Google serves the two typefaces these pages are set in. Your browser fetches them from Google's servers on every page view, so Google receives your IP address and browser user-agent each time you open a page here, the same as on any site that uses Google Fonts. That happens whether or not you ever buy anything, and it is the one third party involved in simply reading this site. There is still no analytics script and no advertising pixel on these pages.
The three below come into play only once online checkout is live and you place an order. None of them has received anything from this store yet.
Stripe processes the payment. It receives and handles your card data directly and holds the order and contact details needed to take the payment, under its own privacy policy and its own security obligations.
Our print production partner receives your name, shipping address and the items you ordered, because they are the ones printing and packing them. They do not receive your card details, and they are not permitted to market to you.
The shipping carrier receives your name and address so the package can be delivered.
Law enforcement or a court, if we are legally required to hand something over in response to a valid legal request.
That is the entire list. We do not sell personal information, we do not rent or trade email lists, and we do not share customer details with advertisers.
Cookies and browser storage
Your bag is kept in your own browser's local storage, on your device. It stays there while you shop and is not sent to us until you actually check out. Clearing your browser data empties the bag.
This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Once checkout is live, pressing Checkout will hand you to a page hosted by Stripe, and Stripe will set its own cookies there for security and fraud prevention, governed by Stripe's privacy policy rather than ours. That handoff does not happen yet.
How long we keep it
Order and payment records are kept for as long as we need them to support the order and to meet accounting and tax record-keeping obligations. Email correspondence is kept while it is still useful for support. An email address on the signup list is kept until you ask to be removed.
Seeing or deleting your information
Email scout@liveincda.com, ideally from the address you used to order, and tell us what you want: a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion. We will confirm what we did.
One limit worth stating up front. Records attached to a completed order (what was bought, what was paid, where it shipped) may have to be kept for tax, accounting and fraud-prevention reasons even after a deletion request. If that applies to you, we will tell you exactly what is being kept and why, and delete everything else. Removing an email address from the signup list is straightforward and we will not ask why.
If you live somewhere whose privacy law gives you rights of access, correction or deletion, use the same address and we will handle the request the same way.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and card data never reaches our systems at all, which removes the single most sensitive thing a small store could lose. No system is perfectly secure, so we are not going to claim otherwise; what we can say is that we keep as little as we can get away with.
Children
This store is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, email scout@liveincda.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this page
If what we collect, or who it is shared with, changes, this page changes with it. Last updated August 2026.
